Why would ESPN care if the Eagles are done or not? Has ESPN become a local philly station? Isnt this a question that should be asked by local philly stations? Sounds so dumb for a national network to show that they are rooting for one team. You can't tell me that the producers of SportsCenter are not from the Philly area.

So what will happen if they lose next week? ESPN is going to post another question asking-"What exactly went wrong for the Eagles this season?

I'm so sick of hearing about this team, it doesn't matter if they win or lose

Lol, what?

Because the Eagles thus far have been a disappointment in contrast to the hype they garnered coming into this season.

Lol, Cowboy fans are the most indignant group of humans alive.

....and if ESPN ran another story on Romo or the up'n'down season the Cowboys are having, you would likely say "hey, why don't they run a story on the Eagles? They're 3-5!"

C'mon mayne....

*For the record, I'm actually glad they have new material anyways. I was sick of seeing them rehash the Ravens/Steelers game for the 300th time.

Agreed. I'm sick of the Philly love from nearly all the media. I'm sick of hearing how Andy Reid is a genius and Vick is an elite QB. I'm tired of hearing "that's Eagles football" and that they're a "model franchise."

Show me their Lombardis.

I don't get it. After they won their 2nd game everyone was declaring "they're back! They're tops in the league!" and some even outright declared they were hoping Philly would bounce back.

I'm not asking for more Cowboys coverage, because I think we get more than enough. I just want to hear more about other teams in the league.

Can't remember the last time I saw something dedicated to the Texans more than simple highlights, and they're quietly having a fantastic season.

I see you the Texans, and I'll raise you the 3-3 starting Tebow hype machine compared to the relative cloak of silence surrounding the 6-2 Bengals lead by Andy Dalton.

Hilarious.. Just last week, after the EGals Super Bowl win over the Cowboys, everyone in the media was all over them again. The "Dream Team" is back. lol

Funny, what a difference a week and a loss make. Fans are back on the "fire Reid and get rid of Vick " wagon.

I love it.

You know why that loss was so much sweeter last night? Even if they weren't my most hated team, a bitter rival, and all that I'd have loved watching them lose last night with the way ESPN put on the "Lets kiss Philly's *** Pre-Game Show".

Seriously watching that pre-game you'd have thought the Bears weren't even actually going to be at the game. It was pathetic.

Made it all that much sweeter when the Eagles lost again.

I say they are not done. They need 3 more losses if possible. The have the following:

vs Cardinals - win
at Giants - revenge game and is toss up
vs Patriots - a toss up as well
at Seahawks - win
at Miami - win
vs Jets - who knows
at Cowboys - win?
Skins - win

I think they lose to the Giants, Patriots, and Dallas.

I actually think the Jets will beat them as well.

They are? thats sad

... a statistical graphic showed 3-5 teams have a 5% chance of going to the playoffs while 4-4 teams have a 36% chance... just sayin...

This is incredibly optimistic. The Eagles are not that good IMO. They haven't been impressive this season except for the game against us when they had two weeks to prepare and knew just about all of our defensive calls. They won't have that advantage again and won't play that well again the rest of the season. There are more losses coming and some of them will be ones you have marked as sure wins too.

The game against us is not a for sure win. Ryan will adjust and have a much better game plan.

That's why I didn't watch the pregame show especially since berman is a eagles fan.

I love it when folks are so sick of something they take the time to start a thread about it so it can be discussed.

I love it when folks on medication respond to threads on here and sound crazy.

The Eagles season should be officially over by time they face seattle on December 1st which is a Thursday Night Game. They will either be 3-8 or 4-7
