ESPN or NFLN

the real question is - will jackwads listening on the radio or elsewhere come in here and announce the picks 10 minutes before the NFL does.

like i'm whining about in another thread i'm too lazy to return to and update that post...it's all about the show so when a teams pick is up and they turn in a card, there's still 3-5 minutes of CRAP they must go through before they announce the pick. by that time radio and other places have moved on with the news and those of us suffering through the official part can't even get the fun of seeing the pick announced if we're also in here cause someone MUST BE FIRST to tell the world who the pick is.

sigh - i need to go hit the elliptical some this am and get in a better mood. its friday eve and we do in fact finally get to put speculation to rest and move right onto *****ing about jones's stupidity.

again.

Which? NFL Network. Why? After short periods of watching and listening to Chris Berman and Mel Kiper, I reach involuntarily for Excedrin and Rolaids--sometimes simultaneously.

The ESPN hate is way overblown. Just because Chris Broussard, Skip Bayless & Stephen A Smith are idiots doesn't mean their entire network is trash. ESPN usually has good coverage and I'll probably be flipping back and forth between ESPN and NFLN with Broaddus and Brugler on the laptop.

I despise Berman and his jackass Sunday morning crew so I'll be looking for alternatives... DC.com might be cool if the server can handle all the logins.

Exactly what I will do. I will probably lean towards NFLN just because I like a few of their personalities better.

It's more than the cowboy hate for me. While there are a handful of espn personalities that I like, the network as a whole needs to follow the same "no politics" rule that this board follows, espn is too ideological for my taste so I dont reward them by watching.

I just watch ESPN in the first round because it's kind of been a tradition but when we get to the 3rd round I flip over to NFL network because I feel like they do a better job of covering those picks.

Don't have NFLN anymore so it will be ESPN/ESPN2 and of course the Dallascowboys.com broadcast and web cam.

I will flip between the two. For the Cowboys pick probably be on NFLN.
