Denver and Mike Shanahan is a good gamble for him. If Cutler struggles he is a similar type QB in that he has a big arm.

I've always liked him.

To answer Summer's question about just keeping Bledsoe, Ramsey is much younger. For that reason alone I'd rather have him than Bledsoe. But you can also add in the fact that he accepted his backup role with dignity. In other words, he's not a malcontent.

Broaden your mind about QB and you won't regret it.

I have, and the only thing Ramsey can do is throw the deep-ball, the rest of his game sucks, he can't throw intermediate, he has almost no pocket presence, there is no upside there

Riiiiiiight.

Not going to waste my time. Shouldn't have tried to respond to your question to cbz in the first place. My bad.

I'm not too disappointed.

I mean, if he is so good, why was he available?

I'll honor you w/one response.

As already mentioned by Hos.....he's younger....that and the fact he tough, and has a strong arm is the reason he would have been choice as back up to Tony.

I would also question him being labeled as having poor pocket presence.

It is my opinion that knock on him could be easily argued.....as you mentioned he has only 24 starts and I might add he was thrown into the mix with very little preparation.

He was also performing behind a very bad OL plus a protection scheme that was absolutely horrible. That scheme resulted in Ramsey being on e of the most sacked QB in the 2004 season. That scheme probably cost [FONT=&quot] Spurrier his job as that was his last season as head coach of the Commanders.

Under Gibbs he replaced Brunell as starter and received a neck injury .......the rest is history.

So say what you will....he may very well be bad but he's worth taking another look at. His first few years in the league things did not exactly go his way .....the kid has talent and just how much, in my opinion, has yet to be determined.

There you have my answer to your question. Agree or disagree......I'm finished
. :D

No. I admit it isn't worth my time to involve myself in a pretend discussion which is all it would be. Any effort put into it would be by me and for no good reason.
