Colin Cowherd: What can you do with T.O.?

Peter King: The only thing you can do is immediately get him off yoru team. There is no positives on keeping him on your team.

Peter King: It is more important to fire T.O. than Wade Phillips

Peter King: You can't have your franchise quarterback having to worried about throwing him the ball every time he drops back because he is worried about how T.O. will react.

Peter King: Terrell Owens is the most selfish player in football.

Peter King: You can take the cap hit because you already have talent.

Peter King: They will not have a peaceful season in 2009 if you bring back Roy Williams and Terrell Owens.

This is where all in the media spew the same line in order to enforce their brainwashing agenda.

The Cowboys will always be a team that has distractions, because they are the most popular team in sports. The pressure to play on the Cowboys is greater than any other team in sports with possibly the Yankees.

As far as I can tell, TO was right about the scheme. He's always given his all and played to win wherever he's been. So, what did he do to warrant his release except become the antichrist of players in the media?

Certain elements in the media are disgusting and should be ashamed themselves for what they write, tearing a player down for their own egos.

I mispelled Cowherd, could a Mod fix this.

Also, after the break, Cowherd is going to break down how Jerry Jones is destroying this team and is going to talk about the financial consequences of doing this as well.

All we have to do is get rid of TO. The skies will part, angels will sing, and Patrick Crayton will bring us a Lombardi trophy!

King also said that a friend of his was at the team hotel Saturday night, and he's never seen a team so divided.

That's the more interesting part to me, because Roy is supposed to be our future. Did King just throw Roy in at the end, or did he have any more third-party annonymous Roy bashings to pass on this time?

T.O. isn't going anywhere, unfortunately.

But it's amazing how Dallas fans think the Cowboys revolve around T.O.

Miami, Tennessee, Philadelphia, San Diego, Minnesota and Baltimore don't have wide receivers anywhere close to T.O. or, argueably, Roy E. Williams.

Yet these teams made the playoffs, and some Dallas fans think the world will end if we jettison T.O.?

Good point. Those teams base their philosophies on what they do well. We based ours on a mix of that and getting certain players involved.

I've pointed that out a billion times, and I never have gotten a good reply.

Actually, all teams base their philosophies on getting their playmakers involved as designing schemes should focus on the talents of the players that exist on the team.

TO isn't the problem. Fix the offensive line and the results will show it. Unfortunately, I don't know if it will be fixed in a year.

Plenty of teams won without Aikman, Staubach, Irvin, Emmitt, ...

That's a silly argument...

And baseless in reality. The single player vs team is only applicable to TO because he's the antichrist.

:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

he is close to todd archer I believe. He sometimes repeats stuff I hear archer say on local tv shows verbatim.

This team is a mess. The first one that should go is the gm, the second is Owens and then the coaching search should begin.

but not here, not with a new stadium going up. Jerry just told norm. Wade, Garrett and Owens are going nowhere. And to defend himself Jerry said If I were to cut Owens I couldnt sign demarcus ware longterm.

5-11, driveway situps, another year of the wr calling out the staff and the quarterback, the buffoon wr's agent calling out the coaching staff, distractions and more team division.

If the general manager cant see what is right in front of him, doom, then what good is he?

Because he won't keep his mouth shut.

The media is suppose to do stories and find out what people want to hear about.

People want to hear about the Cowboys. People are interested in the soap-opera lives of the Cowboys.

You know how you fix that so that you don't give ESPN and other media outlets any soap opera material?

You KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT!

How hard is that to do?

For T.O., that's like asking him not to take off his shirt for a magazine shoot. ;)

Or like asking you to not jump on every bad story you read about this team and think it's the gospel.

No, it's not.

The point is that we don't need T.O. to win.

Proof: teams without T.O.-like players are in the playoffs. We're not.

We're not arguing that you have to have Aikman, Staubach, etc. to win. That's your argument.

We're arguing you don't need a T.O. to win.
