So far the Boys are getting a majority of the votes at 42% with the Eagles 2nd with 35%. Four of the states that the Boys are losing, they're only down 1% to the Eagles. A lot of blue on that map. Giants fans must be steamed though. They aren't even winning their own state.

Interesting that before McNabb went down last year the Eagles looked done. I believe they were 5-5, or 5-6, and all of a sudden they catch fire when Garcia, not McNabb took over. So, is McNab really still the leader of that team, and how good are they with him? For me, until we finally overtake them I would have to say the Eagles are the team to beat, but I do think we will win the East this year. I really base that on a hope that Wade will finally get the best out of a very tallented group of defensive players. I think we saw what the offense can do, and that was without giving Romo the benefit of a full offseason with the 1st team.

I think McNabb is still the leader of that team and still dangerouse after all he did put up 18 TD to only 6 ints in 10 games. One big problem Philly may have is McNabb very well could miss the 1st part of the season as he is still rehabbing from this past injury and Garcia is no longer with them. I would also add I think McNabb will be very motivated this year out of the need to prove himself. I do agree Philly is still the team to beat in the East. Having said that I still like our chances this year.

If philly is still the team to beat in NFC East , then all the optimism and talk of deep into playoffs-superbowl should be put on hold. Unless we win NFC East, there shouldn't be any feeling good. I hope the players are having fun but are hungry too.

No need to put it on hold it is the challenge in front of this team. I know Romo has said he expects big things this season and I'm sure most on this team share that view point. Right now Philly is the reigning champ of the east and it is up to the Cowboys to take that spot away from them. I think we have closed the gap with Philly to do just that.

I think before the Colts last year the Wild Card teams have fared pretty well in the past few playoffs. We didn't win the East last year and were a snake oil football from going to Chicago in the playoffs. I think it, no doubt, helps to win the EAST but.......

I agree that he should be very motivated, and they lost some close games with him in there, but when he went down they were a 500 ball club, I think! Not positive, but just saying that the Eagles looked far better I thought with Garcia in there as opposed to McNabb. I hope we can finally get that NFC East crown back in Big D!

No doubt they were around 500 when Garcia came in Philly started to rely a bit more on their rushing attack and were being a bit more balanced in their attack. I think they will continue that with McNabb. One knock on Reid has been they have not been balanced enough and have relied too much on McNabb hitting the big plays while their defense would shut people down. Now the defense is not as dominate as they were and I think they realize that putting the weight of the offense on McNabb may have been a mistake. I don't like Philly but I will say I respect the talent and ability on their team

I love their attacking D, and have wondered for years why we can't be that effective. I hope that Wade will make us into that kind of attacking D. If so, I love our chances!

Philly D though has not been as good over the last couple of season.

Could you specify the exact link for the "map" you elude to in your post. I'm not doubting you, but I simply cannot locate this map with a field of blue all over it.

I'm sure you can direct me to that map ...can you not?

two more weeks and these useless espn polls can stop.

I really wish espn would go off the air except for live games. that is the only time it is worth watching anymore.

I'll drink to that.

Even with Brees and Bush, most people didnt consider that the Saints would even make the playoffs last year.

Thanks tk05.

But I'm kind of challenging Boysfaninvegas' veracity without actually seeing that initial link.
