Florida center Mike Pouncey visited the Dallas Cowboys' Valley Ranch facility Wednesday and tweeted that he expects to wear the silver and blue next season.

"Headed back to Pittsburgh ... would be shocked if i wasn't in a dallas uniform nxt year! The draft is april 28th so we will see ... To all the steelers fans i would love to be playing for the steelers and if i had a choice i would but it isnt my choice," Pouncey posted on his Twitter account Wednesday.

His sincerity touched me ... until he decided on addressing steelers fans ...

ugh and with that tweet I hope hes a skin so we can play him twice a year.

I wouldn't hold it against him that he prefers to play with his brother.

According to Goose it's a terrible year for interior offensive lineman, and if you want to address the position you have better do it early in the draft because after the 3rd round it's all training camp fodder.

Jerry is such a salesman... seems like every kid who comes through thinks he is going to be a Cowboy.

Aint it the truth? Randy Moss almost lost his mind over the Jerry Jones sales pitch. What amazes me is that these guys are so dumb that they don't realize that just because a team says we want you and will draft you if we can does not mean that they will DEFINITELY draft you if the opportunity arises. There are too many variables when a team is on the clock, including trade possibilities and other players unexpectedly dropping.

Only if we trade back into the 1st round from #40. Which would not upset me at all.

Not happening unless its late 20's at the earliest

I'd still rather have several other interior OL's over him

He must be easily shocked.

The draft is unpredictable. Even if Dallas thinks very highly of Pouncey, several things would have to happen (e.g., a trade, other teams passing on Pouncey, another more highly coveted player not being available at the Dallas pick) for the Pouncey to become a Cowboy.

Can't see it unless he is there at #40. If we are going to take him earlier it could only be for a few reasons. One they want him at OG and they believe Young is our RT. Two, we take Watt at #9 and Pouncey is at #40 and the best player on the board. Three, we trade down with say New England and get their two 1st round picks and at #40 he is still the best of the board.

Mike Pouncey isn't his brother. He will be a good OG in the NFL but never a OC although he could be the backup OC.

I want Wisnewski in the second round. He will be a long term answer on our O-line and he can play both center and guard.

I could see us trading down from 9, to, say New England at 17, and landing Pouncey there.

That would be a decent move, IMO.

I prefer him too, but he doesn't seem like a Houck type, who always seems to prefer big wide bodies in the interior. Then again, I don't know why the Cowboys are drafting according to the whims of a man who isn't going to be involved in the organization for much longer, and will be long gone by the time this particular draft class will be in their peak years.

Well we drafted his dad back in 89 and then traded him to the Raiders. I'm not sure what the deal was but I think we traded back in the round and took Moose. While I think it was a good move because of what Moose did for us, Wisnewski was a great Ol for years as well.
