No, this can't be right. Wade has lost the team. The defense is terrible. T-New can't cover anyone. We have to draft a new CB and a speed WR. Blah, blah, blah!

Spiro Agnew would be proud of all the nattering nabobs of negativism on this board. Everyone take a deep breath. If you told me before the season we'd be 5-1 and in first place in the NFC East, I'd have been thrilled.

If you think our 2ndary is good and that Tnew made no mistakes in Sunday's game you must be blind. I for one want this team to be the BEST in the history of the NFL, not the Pats, and accepting shortcomings is a good way to not accomplish that goal.

If we are lucky, and our coaches can do something w/ N Jones and Reeves keeps improving, and the Pats get some injuries, we may get a chance to play them again in the SB. But I want us to win and I'm not sure standing around "chilin'" is gong to help the 2ndary if those injuries don't materialize...

Just a personal opinion, but I don't think Pittsburgh has played a really good team to date.

Pete Prisco has us 5th behind only the Packers in the NFC. Very questionalbe that they are better than Dallas, IMO

If the Packers had played our schedule, they'd be no better than 4-2 right now. They already lost to the Bears, and they'd undoubtedly lose to the Patriots.

but- (sanity check here)- would any cowboy fan think that the lions should be ranked AHEAD of the skins (who dismantled them just a week ago, while the lions- also at 3-2 - were on a bye, while the skins barely lost to a GB team (ranked by prisco at #4) on the road by 3 that they statistically dominated)?

I hate the Commanders but noway Lion should be ranked ahead of the Commanders. Lioins have no defense and their offense is one dimentional.

I agree that it doesn't matter where we are in the rankings, but if at season's end we are in last place, I'd say the chances of us having a record that is playoff-worthy - forget Super Bowl - is pretty slim.
