No surprise at all what Dak’s motivations are, and have been. Dak’s ten football commandments are two: Brand and wallet.

Dak’s “leadership” has never been distinguished or explained on this forum and there isn’t one damn anecdote on his leadership that we can’t provide the same for Geno Smith or Cousins, and a dozen others.

His personal journey is fantastic and I salute him for that. Truly. Talking openly about depression, and his many personal losses is not easy.

His on field impacts are no different or distinguishable than the bottom 15 QBs on any QB list. Brand, and $.
It has been. You just have no clue what leadership is all about. I could go on and on about how he displays his leadership but you wouldn’t get it. I’ll just give 1 example because I don’t want to have to defend them all. Dak could be holding out this year. He isn’t. He’s practicing just as hard as anyone and harder than most. That’s leadership. I get it that you don’t understand that, but it’s fact.

My question to Dak is which brotherhood does he owe it to more? The QB brotherhood or the Dallas Cowboys brotherhood?

This is the same thing if Dak took a sack instead of throwing the ball away and he was asked why and his reply was “I didn’t want to hurt my completion percentage, I owe it to my QB brotherhood”. He’s hurting the team.

So which brotherhood means more to you? The QB club or your teammates?

Dak said that the only reason he is in camp is so he don't get fined. He is a one way street, nothing else, just money.

That is not leadership that is greed.

You’re not an NFL player so wouldn’t understand. Me neither.

Well, apparently it's not the team. Dak is all about himself, and he dances before games so you can see him, phony as hell. He needs them diapers changed.

Wow, you’re only post #5. You can do better!
These people act like it's their money. They hate Jerry for not paying and they hate Dak for wanting to get paid! Lol! They don't know what else to complain about! It's not l Iike we're the only team that pays their players.

Where was this energy in the playoffs? Where was the drive to be the best on the field? All of our players, including Dak, Micah, and CD were not ready to play against Green Bay. But they are sure attacking their contract negotiations with urgency. Frustrating.
Why would they not? Football is a business for them. And in your business, wouldn't you try to make as much as you could?

If I knew I could make my bosses pay me more, I would certainly do it. Doesn't mean I don't like my job (trust me, for what I get paid, I have to like it to do it) or that I don't want to be the best I can.
