News: ESPN: QB Tua Tagovailoa suffers oblique injury in practice; Cooper Rush in

With Tua’s injury history - broken hip in college and multiple concussions since he turned pro - I don’t know why he’s still playing. Seriously.

I will never forget that concussion Tua had where his arms were involuntarily moving while he was out cold. Just brutal.

If I was in Tua’s family, I would be asking him to retire. He has the majority of his life ahead of him and those head injuries definitely have long term consequences.
“Early in the story, Galu [Tua’s Dad] discussed how he forced Tua to throw lefty despite his son being right-hand dominant. The reason: Galu was a lefty.

Tua went on to say that his father's strict discipline applied for both school and sports. When Tom Rinaldi followed up for clarification on what exactly he meant, the Alabama quarterback said the "belt was involved" when he threw an interception or failed to get a certain grade…

The feature also shed light on how Tua ended up at Alabama. The decision was made by Gula. Regardless of where Tua favored, he said that his father had the final say.“

At the very least, his dad was so obsessed with him becoming a good football player that Tua would receive physical punishment for not performing well.

I wonder how many people in his family are more disappointed with his constant injures than concerned.

Tua has an IQ of about 80 after all the concussions. No joke, listen to some of his interviews and its a very difficult watch.

"I'm not sure what happened, but it's Thursday practice," Rush said. "Practice has to go on and so you're up next and that was a good day. It was good to get out there and get some real reps with that group and we'll see what happens."
Tua is the most worthless, injury prone QB in the NFL. He makes Dak seem like a hardy, dependable leader.

Rush needs to holdout for more money. Rush always get quality starts meaning he's not starting when his team is out the playoff hunt.

Rush held it down for us I'm sure he will hold it down for the Falcons

CeeDee had that happen and some fans said he was faking it. Fencing response.

I live in South Florida so I get The dolphins crammed down my throat by default. It seemed like this guy was hurt down here, just all the time with the Dolphins.
