ARLINGTON, Texas -- Dez Bryant went into Sunday’s opener with big expectations. He had hoped he would have a contract extension by the time the season started that would have made him a Dallas Cowboy for life – or close to it at least. He hoped he would have at least contributed to a Cowboys win against the San Francisco 49ers. Bryant got neither. Off the field, the contract talks will go on hold if Bryant holds to his self-imposed deadline.
