Jim: Harrison? What's wrong? You're just staring at your monitor.
Harrison: Got writer's block. Nothing's coming to me and I got a deadline to meet.
Jim: Do what I always do. Check out ESPN's latest stuff.
Harrison: I'll give it a try. Hmm. Someone's doing an NFL teams' forecast.
Jim: It includes the Cowboys, right?
Harrison: Yeah. So?
Jim: Earth to Harrison. Dallas. Cowboys.
Harrison: ... crap. Thanks Jim!
Jim: You're welcome.

Looks like ESPN defines "future" as next three years, and ranked every team on a scale of 0 to 100, based on many factors (trajectory of QB, coaching, ability of GM, talent of young players, etc).

WE MADE THE TOP 10!!!!! (well....we were #10, so we're still in double digits"

Looks like we were 4th in NFC behind SanFran, Seattle and Philly (who was their #1 overall team).

I'm not getting Seattle. Would anyone in here take Geno over Dak? That said....I really am not that familiar with the Seahawks.
I'm not going to read that but just by the title alone exactly how does ESPN become nostradamus or is the league really is a farce and the conspiracy theories about the league being somewhat steered in directions the league office wants it to and they already know the outcomes or at least they can push it that way??hmmm

I mean how else could they know all the teams features please explain? I mean do they know every injury that's going to happen,
They know every draft pick and free agent that's going to work out?? I mean I'd like to know if they can tell me where the next devastating world events are going to happen!?
Please elaborate; the league now thinks it knows how things are going to go..OR NOT!
This is why sports are the greatest reality TV there is because you can't predict the future, you can make wild swings at a guess, but the things are all hypothetical, their ALL opinions and I don't like rankings or opinions because I just like to watch the games once they come on, talk about the actual games week to week, not getting ahead of ourselves.

Why are the Cowboys getting knocked for that? IT'S A GOOD THING NOT A BAD THING.
Right, not anything against Elliott but it seems like the old offensive coaching staff projected whenever Elliot came in it was going to be load left load right load middle..

that was a problem,
I mean before his injury Elliott actually was running very well both years close to five yards per carry looked like he had a little wiggle back a little more burst than he had in years past he was losing weight at least each offseason and not being a full back body to be hammer anymore and I had no problem with them using him splitting carries.
I think they just weren't creative enough, they literally when they brought in Elliott or Pollard you almost knew what they were going to run in the run game... the run game was to me the most uncreative part of our offense.
Yes, Kellen Moore was creative in the pass schemes like he souped up Jason garrett's old offense but the fact is all those changes together not having Elliot project what we're about to run this coaching staff needs to be smarter about the package they bring in and not just bringing them in and now you know it's about to be a sweep or it's about to be a run up the middle.
this is the change I want, they don't need to run more they need to run more creatively. I believe in my opinion a running back by committee with a lot of guys that are very similar but yet have small differences in their game are gonna help because you're not going to know as much about what might be coming whether using the backs in the pass game or whether they're running short yardage or they're gonna be running up the outside etcetera..
I'd like to see a lot of these guys be more interchangeable...of course pollard gets his 15 carries and if hes hot keep him in but im saving him for bigger games and bigger moments ie be more fresh for the playoffs, hope they dont overuse him because its his last year on 10mil deal.. It's a fact, Tony Pollard also struggled down the stretch last year 3.8 yards per carry no touchdowns that burst big playability disappeared I mean that's 51 yards per game his last five games.. And he was hurt twice in that same stretch so they need to be smart with him because the more carries they gave him and the more responsibilities they gave him he did in fact looked a little gas at the end of the year.

Since nobody has gone there yet.

Despise the network and have for years. Specializing in fawning over teams from the Northeast since its inception.

Cowboy haters fo sho. Based on these biases their reporting and materials are untrustworthy.
Maybe they will go out of business. I know ABC is on the rocks
