EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- A few thoughts on the Dallas Cowboys' 31-28 win against the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium. What it means: The Cowboys absolutely needed to win Sunday night and Tony Romo’s touchdown pass to Dez Bryant with 1:01 to play proved to be the difference. With the win the Cowboys kept pace with the Philadelphia Eagles and improved to 8-3, equaling their win total from each of the past three seasons with five games to go.
