ESPNews reports that Brett Favre has chartered a plane to Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Whereas many teams travel, the Packers hold training camp in Green Bay and it appears as though Favre will be there on Friday. The Packers have Thursday off. We are expecting some sort of movement on this front shortly.

Things are about to get crazy, in a hurry!

If the team is so afraid of releasing him and letting him go to Minnesota then he should be their starting QB.

I heard they offered him 20 mill to stay retired. Is that true?

Yes, The Pack offered him 20 Million. The Pack should trade him to the Vikes for a 1st and a third. Get as much back as possible.

That's what I heard too. Oh, and those who mocked me and said it was "impossible" that the Packers would trade him to Minnesota might be getting served up a big piece of humble pie in the near future.

That's what happens when you don't actually think for yourself and use common sense and logic. Take that lesson to heart, talking heads.

Offering him money to stay retired. Man, they must have big cajones. That'd be a pretty good way to make him charter a plane to GB. Talk about the absolute insult. Here fella, take the damn $20 million and stay away from our team. You putz.

It wasn't that the Pack couldn't trade him to Vikes it was more if they wanted to trade Farve there.

Let's see what happens in Tampa where Garcia got hurt. Maybe that will be the landing spot.

My gods, does everything have to be a platform for an arguement with you? Not enough hugs?

That wasn't the point. There were a bunch of people on here who decided that I was stupid for suggesting that the Packers might ultimately be forced to trade him to Minnesota, as the best of the worst-case scenarios. Hostile, for one, knows damn well what I'm talking about.

But no worries, I'm sure those same people will start backtracking and changing their stories if this does wind up happening, I would expect no more of them. :LOL

It is getting down to the Packers having few options.

The one they better choose is Favre being their starting QB.

The others are going to cost a lot of people their jobs I think and make them look real stupid to the Chesseheads

I think the Pakers put themselves in a corner on this one and did everything pretty much wrong. The funny thing is I truely feel that they were the ones wronged in this situation. They didn't force Favre's hand and they didn't really account for his return.

The Pack offered wrong currency to Farve. They should have offered 10 mil and a weekly interview with John Madden that will air on all networks. Farve would have snapped that up in a heartbeat.
