Why is ESPN reporting on their ticker (bottom of the screen) that in order for the Cowboys to make the playoffs, the Bucs need to lose BOTH games... I thought that if ATL or TB lose either one of their 2 remaining games AND the Cowboys beat Phily next week, the Cowboys are in the Playoffs.

Can someone confirm which is the correct Playoff scenario for us to get into the playoffs... thanks

Atlanta or Tampa has to lose only once. And we have to beat Philly to get in.

If both lose today and we win next week we get #5 seed.

or we could have come out and finally stepped up in a game with meaning & emotion.

I thought if we end up in a tie with the 3 we may not get in? Also, isn't Chicago still in the mix? I thought if we end up in a tie with TB AND ATL head to head is out and we would not get in??? Hope I am wrong.

If our records are equal, we win the tiebreaker with Chicago.

Didn't we just do this?

We win the tiebreakers over TB and ATL.

ESPN is perpetuating the wrong info started by NFLN last night.

No, Chicago is practically out of the playoffs unless they win their division. They need Minny to lose both games and Bears have to win out.

If the Falcons lose one more game (both NFC games) they will have a record of 7-5 in the NFC, we have a record of 7-4 right now. We obviously have to win @ Philly.

Onto Tampa, we beat them so we have the head to head tie-breaker over them also.

ESPN is continously reporting on their ticker that TB must lost both games... need confirmation on this please... I thought that TB had to lose only 1 of their 2 games?

What more confirmation do you need? They are not accurate.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

Just believe us?

If Tampa is 10-6 and we are 10-6

we win tiebreaker.

If Atlanta is 10-6 and we are 10-6,

we win tiebreaker.

It's that simple.

As long as Tampa and Atlanta can win out and keep Philly out of the playoffs, I'll be happy.

This team just has so many problems you can poke holes through.

Ok... GO Chargers / GO Vikings / GO Deadskins (for the hell of it!) / GO Packers

GO COWBOYS!!!
