Rolando McClain's health to determine final Cowboys roster spot

i

TAMPA, Fla. -- Jason Garrett wants to have competition throughout the Dallas Cowboys roster.

Last week the competition for the No. 5 receiver spot never materialized because of a hamstring injury suffered by Brice Butler, so Devin Street was active. But if there was a surprise in the Cowboys’ lineup last week it was the reinsertion ofTyler Patmon as a backup cornerback.

He had been a healthy scratch in the previous two games with the Cowboys using Corey White as the extra corner. Against the Philadelphia Eagles, White was deactivated.

As you look to the Cowboys’ 46-man roster for Sunday’s game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the only unknowns are the extra cornerback and Rolando McClain.

Here we go again, when we need all players on board, they are still missing the train.
Train was derailed from game one and two.

As a coach you must say, 'if I can't depend on you to play then I will make plans to play those who can'. I don't think it completely fair to say absolutely Ro doesn't want to play. But there is circumstantial evidence that makes one wonder if that is true.

All hands on deck.
