KANSAS CITY -- For the second time in three seasons Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo needed a pregame pain-killing injection because of a rib injury. Romo completed 30 of 42 passes for 298 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in the Cowboys' 17-16 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, but said the bruised ribs suffered in the season opener against the New York Giants did not affect him. “It was fine,” Romo said. Offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Bill Callahan did not think Romo was bothered by the injury the more the game wore on.
