Steelers take down Cowboys in defensive battle

• WR Terrell Owens was nearly nonexistent, despite one touchdown on a play where the Steelers rushed only their three-man front and QB Tony Romo bought an incredible amount of time for himself. CB Ike Taylor not only limited Owens, but also snagged a first-half interception. The Steelers like keeping the tall, angular Taylor on their opponent's best receiver and he has come up big over and over.

• He isn't Marion Barber, but rookie RB Tashard Choice was impressive. He wasn't a major liability in pass protection and played extremely hard. Although running room was extremely sparse against the Steelers' exceptional defense, Choice got downhill very quickly and showed he is capable of breaking arm tackles and pushing the pile. He also contributed as an outlet receiver and while he doesn't show a ton of side-to-side wiggle, he does see the field very well and doesn't dance with the ball in his hands. As well as their defense is playing, the Cowboys might be OK at the running back position if Barber misses more time down the stretch.

How do these people get away with writing such crap and still keep their job?
Does noone hold them accountable?

Did he even watch the game?

Owens caught 3 balls and had 1 TD.

He was playing in 10 degree weather against the No.1 defense in the league.

Only two offensive TD's were scored in this game and Owens had one.

How is that non-existent?

Granted he did not have a break-out 200 yd performance like we have seen lately, .. but non-existent??

And like the writer says, the Steelers rushed 3, which means there were 8 players in the secondary, and yet he found a hole, and fought for the ball for a TD.

How did the other star WR's do in this frigid, defensive slugfest of a game?

S. Holmes had 3 catches, 0 TD's, ... H. Ward had 1 catch, 0 TD's.

No other WR for either team had over 4 catches.

Does this writer even notice that this was not an offensively explosive game?

If he would write a good article, I would say so, ... but this was just another "dump on Owens" piece of crap article.

Yea I loved how he says "he only caught 1 td" which put the Mavs in position to win the game lol. Not to mention Taylor was interfering the hell out of TO on that play.

The writer either plays a lot of Madden, owns a fantasy team, or was a majorette in high school.

Maybe all three.

Because he does not know what he is watching when he watches football.

Non-existent ?? He does not have a clue.
