Its up there on the Insider thing. I dont pay for the crap, maybe somebody who does can post what it says.

The headline is if there's an opening in Dallas, think Cowher

Edit, now the headline says "Cowher could coach Cowboys"

Those ESPN Insider headlines are usually bogus. I used to have Insider and the Headline would say something like "Cowher to Big D?" and then the actual story would just be about how the Cowboys will change coaches if they miss the playoffs and Cowher is just a possibility or something.

Just says start thinking big regarding coach - Cowher, Fox, Gruden.....

I don't remember what you told me Hos..please refresh my memory

thanks

I keep hearing Fox, Cowher, Gruden and Holmgren, but what about Marrucci?

Same offense as Holmgren and has that attitude that you want in a HC. But we would need someone with some 3-4 ability on Defense. I would really like someone from Pittsburgh to come in here and teach our DB's how to force the QB into interceptions, but I digress..

I don't think our problem is scheme.

I think it's players. We don't have players who can make plays on the ball besides Jenkins.

If it turns out to be Holmgren, Mariucci or Fox - I will stop watching. Seriously!

.

I didnt before this year, but firmly do believe it now.

This years defense looks alot like the Parcells/Zimmer defenses did to me.

I'd love for us to utilize all the athletic talent here and be alot more aggressive, force the issue. Create some havoc with varied blitzes and multiple cover schemes. We're just too simple, again.

It's scheme.

Q: Hey Adam, is it time to give up on the Dallas Cowboys? And if so, what can they do to get back in the saddle for next season?

-- Justin (Dallas)

A: It's not time to give up entirely yet, Justin, but the situation does look bleak. What's sobering isn't their 1-4 record so much as the fact that this team hasn't inspired the confidence that it can be consistent enough to reel off a long winning streak, which is what it will need to get back into playoff contention. At some point, this team is going to turn over the football and commit a dumb penalty and sabotage itself. It has happened consistently this season and, as long as it does, this team will not go as far as it had hoped. And should this continue, the Cowboys are going to make some wholesale changes for next year. Start thinking big ... like Bill Cowher, Jon Gruden, John Fox, coaches of that caliber.

Did someone just say Dick Lebeau?

He's only 73.

Jerry will keep hiring puppets until we go 5-11 three years in a row again.

Red has done a great job of destroying our offense since he has been here.

He should get a shot at HC.

Yeah because Newman, Scandrick, Sensabaugh, and Ball have shown throughout their careers they can go get the ball.

Players have to make plays.
