ESPN to feature Romo

ESPN's Sunday Countdown will have a feature on Tony Romo this week, and while they aren't exactly thinking outside the box with the theme -- that No. 9 is an improvisational master -- they are taking a funky tact in going about it.

Follow us here. Snoop Dogg's pretty good at freestylin'. So is Romo. As such, the Worldwide Leader's bringing them together. Here's the tease from ESPN's release:

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is a master of improvisation after taking the snap from center - making some of his best plays on his own and not drawn by the offensive coordinator. Greg Garber talked to Romo’s teammates and sought out another master of improvisation – rapper Snoop Dogg - to get a better feel for how and why Romo appears most successful when things are most chaotic on the field.
That'll get you watching.

I'd expect alot more hate being spewed at him from rival team's fans, that's for sure

you mean sell himself

out ;) j/k, I like the guy actually

He's just working it. Maybe this can give Romo a little street cred :)

All it sounds like to me is they're going to talk to Snoop about Romo or ask him to do some sort of rap about Romo. Snoop is a huge sports fan and a huge football fan in particular.

I seriously doubt Romo will be doing any rapping. :)

The 'Romo needs to stop wearing his hat backwards' crowd should probably be put on the list for heart transplants pretty damn soon...

I heard it is Snoop, Romo, and Mr. Belding from Saved By The Bell. Fo' shizzle.

What it sounds like, is that they are going to show clips of Romo, and draw parallels to the improvisation of free-style rapping. It's not Romo and Snoop together - it's Greg Barber talking to Snoop and Romo's teammates about Romo.
