There are no teams in today's NFL that has a GM that admits he should have been fired ages ago, yet continues at the helm. There are no teams in today's NFL where a GM admits that his 4th year coach is still making poor game management mistakes, and is learning on the job yet that GM rationalizes keeping this project coach on staff for sunk cost reasons and the infinitesimally remote possibility that he might flourish somewhere else if let go.
There are no teams in today's NFL where a [1] GM declares that he doesn't want a walk around coach, then in the span of a single season [2] mandates that his coach be a walk-around coach by stripping him of his play calling abilities, [3] then seemingly restores the coach's calling rights mid season, by tries to hide the awkward role reversal by claiming that the coach is merely passing on other peoples' play calls to the QB, [3] then potentially inserts yet another offensive handler into the mix to fix what the HC was hired to do in the first place.

That is not on the same the same dysfunctional order of magnitude as simply replacing an OC during the season.

What a joke way to run a franchise...................wow

And Jerry wonders why he is sitting on the couch come playoff time every single year.

If you are so offended by this..stop following the team.

We don't need this sort of 'fan support'..

its not support..its just unprofessional opinion.

Its post like this that pisses me off.. questioning someones fandom cause they question the decision making of orginization who has 1 playoff win in 17 years .every opinion on here is a unprofessional opinion.

Bradshaw tore him up after Chiefs or Chargers game=Callahan was the problem.

Well I remember that.

And he was right.

Callahan is no offensive genius.

Chuckle was the lead dog when they were all in Oakland.

Callahan was fired after one disastrous season.

Lol. Well I don't have the time or want to. Lol if you can't see it anything I say won't convince you.

So many appeal to bandwagon fallacy. This is a Cowboy message board for discussing the Cowboys. You made a popular argument.I responded. I think Jones could have done a better job no doubt but I don't think every move he makes is horrible.

Sure.

Whatever you say.

You are entitled to your opinion..I defend your right to say it.

But I don't agree.

There is no easy clean sweep answer.

Rather than blame Garrett..

Its about Jerrah and others at the top.

Like Jerrah and his wife, the Art Dept. Chairperson.

If Jerrah would stop with the Neopotism and deal more with the teams issues..

a lot would change.

For the better.

Jerrah to me is very distracted.

How can we get him back to the days were his plans met reality.

Not sure.
