Why wouldn't he be present, he's still under contract! You'd be surprised at how much it cost to finance a podcast and a no show by Parsons could be fatal to his cause........LOL!

yeah lol like having other interests in other things more important than being with your team. Dak did it and was there with his teammates, Micah was out seeing the world doing sumo wrestling etc
 
I guess the coincidence of the contract timing and the previous times of not being with the team at voluntary team workouts and him showing up this year is just that.

No I'd give them props for that I don't think people hate partisans i'm saying I'm tired of hearing about all the threats of holding out promises that I'm going to take less money i'm not going to be that guy that wants to be the highest paid skill player in the league and then all of a sudden the contracts taken longer and everyone blames Jerry no I blame Parsons I blame his agent I blame him for listening to his agent but he's supposed to be showing up in the first place the players making that kind of money on this team should be showing up for all these functions if it's possible I get it if you can't make it but I'm tired of guys getting pat on the back for doing something they should be doing because Prescott's been doing it since day one he gets nothing but flak around here the man's had every reason to not show up especially this last contract because last time he was on the franchise tag he had his ankle snapped off and it could have cost him his career,,,​

But that's what a leader does he shows up even when he doesn't have to or not supposed to we shouldn't be giving him props for doing something he should be doing for 21.5 million you can't show up for a few meetings I don't even think these are practices I think they're just getting into groove on what they're going to be expected to do in the weight room and to get in shape anything that's going to be implemented they're getting probably a new ipad or whatever they use with all the new plays on it just having just general temperature of the team meetings and you're going to want to be pat on the back for showing up just to walk around the star for $21.5 million because that's guaranteed money so I don't want to hear about how great a leader is for showing up..

I'm glad he showed up but I don't like this blame Jerry game because we all know the longer that the agent waits the more money he can squeeze out of Jerry the more he makes therefore he's advising Parsons to do something Parsons says he wasn't going to do if he signs for anything over $40 million he lied he lied to everyone of us saying that he didn't need to have that type of deal!!​

That's the reason I'm a little chippy when it comes to talking about this ,

I don't know of any millionaires or billionaires that purposely want to pay millions more for something..

no, that's not what they're doing that's not what Jerry's doing could he have got it done earlier I don't know but to say he hasn't tried and that he's not trying to get it done when there's no spies literal people up in those offices that are telling us any different...

i'm not worried and nor should he be he will get his money, he's going to get his big contract ,jerry's going to pay it he's going to cave eventually, but he's not the one holding up this process but the longer we keep talking about it the more people blame the FO, I have to hear this every day about it's Jerry's fault everything is falling apart at the Star...

because the two parties are most responsible for this hold up common sense says,

it's the player and agent; because they longer they wait the more money they make, and why in the hell would the owner want to do that?

The owners trying to do is negotiate, the smart thing is to be up at the star because Jerry probably will sign you quicker than those that hold out and get under his skin.. but Jerryd trying to negotiate the best deal possible and sometimes when you push negotiations until you're trying to get the best deal ,you end up paying what they asked for anyway ,and here we are but it doesn't matter because as long as it just doesn't run into the season the regular season it's not going to distract the team because he's under contract and he's going to play. .

Good for him. Maybe he is taking this leadership thing seriously considering he has chosen to work out on his own in the past. It could just be about the money, but he's there, so that should be taken as a good thing.

I could be mistaken, but I think he was referring to the people who complain about everything any player does.
