IRVING -- X-rays on Tony Romo's broken left collarbone show that it's still fractured, and the Cowboys starting quarterback remains at least three weeks away from returning, a source told ESPNDallas.com on Monday.

Romo underwent X-rays Monday morning to see how the injury to his non-throwing arm is healing.

Eh. There is no hurry. Let it heal all the way. Let Kitna do what he can while he's out. No need to rush it and get him hurt further.

I cannot see too many folks getting all up in arms about Romo being out the way Kitna & the boys have been playing. Better for him to come back 100%...

duh. fractures take 6 weeks to heal.

that's great reporting.

I'm sure Jerry's upset... now he can't make a spectacle of "TONY ROMO'S BIG COMEBACK!" until next season...

Who needs Romo, we`ve got Kitna. ;)

Well, it would be nice to have a quality backup to Kitna.......

Get well soon Romo I cant wait to see you back on the field in December!

If we are 4-7 headed into Indy I would think about playing if I were Romo.

You got all offseason to baby this injury to your non-throwing shoulder.

I so agree. As far as I am concerned he does not need to put the uni back on this year. I'd love to see him dismantle the Cardinals live on Christmas, but with the season a wash there is no need to risk his health.

Maybe the contrived QB controversy talk can stop now .... I doubt it.

I'm starting to wish I had majored in journalism. "In other news, the sun will rise tomorrow". :laugh2:

How do you figure? 3 weeks means he'll play the last three games of the season.
