Garoppolo got hurt on the 49ers opening drive. They won that game with the 7th rookie QB. I think he was the last player picked in the draft. And he didn't look bad. He did get a lot of run support.

Which means whatever mobility he had before, will be almost nonexistent this time. Good for the Cowboys. They must have gotten this cleared with Dr. Jerry.

8 weeks from now is the NFC championship game. The chances they make it that far with Brock Purdy, especially given they may not even win their division if they lose in Seattle, are almost non-existent. And if they did are they gonna bench the guy who got them there for a guy who is an average NFL starter?

Will Jimmy didn't do a whole lot to beat us last year. It could work if they run the ball and give him a few throws.

This is a better Cowboys team. Of course, that means nothing until they prove themselves in the playoffs. I wouldn't go by last year, though.

True.
He was playing much better this year than last though.
But now you have to think he'll have regressed after another injury and layoff.

Both teams are better this year than last. But that was before that injury.

How exactly are we better this year? By adding Sam Williams and Tyler Smith? Serious question, bc Parson was already legit last year. Now we have Brown and Lewis lost to injury, the backups are backups for a reason. Hate to be pessimistic but we are the same as last year. We haven’t done a whole lot to invest in defense and until we do, I have a hard time not putting the weight on Dak. He has to put points on the board and win time of possession which make it no different from last year. Jimmy beat Dak last year, regardless of what anyone says, he sent us packing along with their defense.
