Sources: Rodgers' IR return draws teams' ire

i

Multiple teams think the Packers should have to release Aaron Rodgers because they violated a league rule regarding the quarterback's eligibility to be placed on IR.

Wonder if our Cowboys are among the teams since that Detriot game the last game of the season could hold great significance should Dallas win today.

What GB did made sense for their future but it does have a stench to it.

No team has the guts to hold the NFL and Packers to the rules. I don't know why you guys bother to watch football outside the Cowboys

he was "sore"???

translated, he sprained his va-gi-gi

pansy....and yes, this is a violation of the league rules...but, even if they were forced to cut him, he would sign with GB the next day unless there is a rule against that which they can then circumvent

Let's just see if Jerry is afraid of being over looked by Santa, if he does anything to enforce the rules...and I wonder where this leaves the concussion protocol, now?

If I were a packers fan, I'd be pissed he's not playing since he's healthy enough to play. Especially if I had tickets to the game for my family.

If the rule was truly broken (I haven’t looked that much into it) an example would be made of practically any other team but since it’s the lil’ darling Packers, won’t happen.......

Such a non-story....they rushed him back from his injury and then shelved him again once they were out of it

If forced to release him he will just sign back with the Packers...... they won't lose him or suffer on the cap

Talk about salary cap hell....paying for two contracts.....

I hope Jerry does lead the charge. It isn't like we will rue that decision on the field, since GB and Rodgers seem to have our number, a lot thanks to the officiating.

I would love for the NFL to enforce not only this rule, but also start calling consistent holding calls on their OL. But, neither will happen, so I guess we should just turn the page and move along with our lives.
