Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will have new X-rays taken of his broken collarbone within the next 24 hours to further evaluate whether he will return under center in December, according to team sources.
Romo may have the X-rays taken today at Cowboys Stadium as the Cowboys play the Detroit Lions, a source said. If the X-rays are discouraging, the team will discuss whether he should be placed on injured reserve but a source conceded there was no urgency to make a decision.
