OXNARD, Calif. -- The contract between the Dallas Cowboys and the city of Oxnard, California, is up after this training camp, but owner and general manager Jerry Jones would like to continue operating at least part of camp here in the future. This is the ninth year the Cowboys have called Oxnard their home for camp. “It’s better than where it was when we started, and we certainly have the ability to consider it and are considering it and are looking forward not only to this camp, but hopefully we’ll be preparing many Cowboys teams here,” Jones said.
