Any idea of how much the expenses are and loan payments for the stadiums that the NFLPA want revenue from?theogt said:Any idea what the total revenue is?
If 60% (what the NFLPA is asking for) would equal ~$115 MM per team, then I'd say total revenue is somewhere around $6.133 billion.

Good question. Labor for most industries equals 75% of costs. At least thats what I remember from undergrad.AtlCB said:Any idea of how much the expenses are and loan payments for the stadiums that the NFLPA want revenue from?
I'm not sure where this number came from. The highest percentage that I was able to find was 55-60% (trucking industry). Also, the 60% that the NFL is agreeing to doesn't include benefits, social security taxes, and the salaries of non-players.theogt said:Good question. Labor for most industries equals 75% of costs. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AtlCB said:anybody else sick of hearing Stuart Scott
I was talking about labor costs as a percentage of costs, not as a percentage of revenue. I just remember the 75% number being thrown around a lot in undergrad.AtlCB said:I'm not sure where this number came from. You should not make fun of the guy.
The players dont get all the TV money and they get revenues from other avenues.AtlCB said:Was anybody else sick of hearing Stuart Scott say that the NFL brought in 3.7 billion in TV revenue last year?
