The writer here trying to act like the media wasn't trying to goad him is beyond ridiculous. The media was one step short of actually yelling out loud 'T.O., I'M TRYING TO GET YOU TO THROW YOUR TEAMMATES UNDER THE BUS...HOW BAD IS THE BUFFALO BILLS OFFENSIVE SCHEME?'

But I think this goes to show you how bad the Dallas media is. This is now being exposed as the media trying to goad him because there are enough members of the Buffalo media that support Owens in this case. In Dallas, the entire local Dallas media banded together and just railed against him. Sadly now that Owens is gone, the local Dallas media goes on to try and goad other players.

Probably even sillier is the author's example of Lee Evans' response. If Owens would've said that, the media would've twisted in saying that he wanted the ball more. This is the same media that claimed he was crying after the Bengals game because he didn't get the ball enough (he had a game winning TD) when the reality was a close friend of his died earlier that week.

I should probably let it go, but it's still not right and it needs to be known that it's not right.

TO brought this on himself by being a pain in the *** everywhere he has played. Now he has put himself in a box where this is the kind of questioning he is going to get when things aren't going well for him. I am glad he is not with the Cowboys anymore. This guy is true headache and brings everybody down with him. I don't know how the Cowboys are going to do without TO but it is nice to know after a tough loss against the Giants or even in wins not to hear TO whine to Deion or Michael or Stephen A. Smith about how he is not getting the ball. About how he could really make this team something special if the ball was thrown to him more and on and on every freaking week. Good riddance. Now he is Buffalo's problem.

I post compelling NFL news in the NFL Zone. It is why we have this forum. If you have a problem with that then I would suggest you completely ignore this particular forum and enjoy the others.

I refuse to cater to the whims of the easily offended. Compelling news is compelling news.

Where was this mantra of move on from you during the Michael Vick saga? Where has it been for other topics. Is it just seeing an article about Owens that offends you?

I post compelling NFL news in the NFL Zone. It is why we have this forum. If you have a problem with that then I would suggest you completely ignore this particular forum and enjoy the others.

I don't know if the media was truly trying to bait TO or not during the recent episode. What little I saw of it I'd say yes.

And I applaud TO for at least TRYING to stay silent. But there is another solution.

Just answer the questions diplomatically. It can be done very, very easily. Except TO sees that somehow as lying.

And btw - though I loved his skills I am REALLY glad this is all happening on someone else's team now.

It sure looks like you are offended from here, and that the thing that offends you is that it's about Terrell Owens and he is gone. There is no other plausible reason for you to object to the article and to say this article doesn't make "one bit of difference to any team in the NFL" and in the same sentence maintain that the Vick saga does. I may be wrong, but I think this saga make "one bit of difference" to the Bills. Therefore it being in the NFL Zone is the correct place for it since the last time I checked the Buffalo Bills were in the NFL.

I love the attempted comparison to Commanders fans. Totally ridiculous and I can prove it with one very simply question having only 2 possible answers.

Commanders fans sound like which these two groups?

A. Cowboys homers who think the Cowboys are the greatest.

B. Cowboys detractors who look for negatives in every action by the Cowboys.

I'm not a "defender of TO". I'm sure I am on record on this forum stating that I did not want him to come here. Once he was here I did give him a chance and actually gained some respect for him because he clearly is a target for any media jerk with a microphone no matter what he does.

Having said all that, I was NOT sorry to see him leave simply because no matter who's fault it is there will always be a circus atmosphere around the man. He did make his bed and the media will always make damn sure he lies in it. Because of that he wil always be a distraction for whichever team he is on.

I have no respect for the media who areconstantly trying to create something out of nothing with TO and that is exactly what this thread appears to be doing to.

Let me clue you in. I have a life. Sports is simply an avenue of entertainment which can provide a distraction from the everyday ups and down of real life. Nothing I have ever read on this forum has "offended" me. There are many "plausible" reasons to pick from if one wished to see the truth as it is rather then the truth they wish to see it.

Well we talk about a lot of players, McNabb, Vick many different QB's, coaches and other matter related to the NFL. TO is a part of the NFL he is a guy who is in the news and being a former player with Dallas it is not shocking that he would be talked about on a Cowboys message board.

lets be honest. they haven't been in the NFL since the late 90's. Pretty much how there is no real football team in Houston or Cleavland.

As I do with many other compelling NFL topics of which you have not objected to. That was the point, is the point, and will always be the point. Why no objections to injury threads? Why no objections to Plaxico Burress threads? The topic is TO and suddenly the advice from you is to "let it go already."
