OXNARD, Calif. -- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will not practice on Saturday as he continues to work through a limited portion of practices early in training camp. With the afternoon practice focusing on short-yardage and goal-line situations, coach Jason Garrett said it was a way to steal a day of rest for Romo’s surgically repaired back, even coming back from an off day. “We thought it was a good idea to have him off today, and hopefully he’ll be ready to go tomorrow for the Blue-White Scrimmage,” Garrett said Saturday.
