IRVING, Texas -- That Tony Romo didn't practice Wednesday is not a surprise. On a normal week, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback would not have practiced on Wednesday anyway as he would have worked out in the weight room to strengthen his surgically repaired back. Romo did not practice more than two straight days during training camp and did not play in two of the four preseason games. He did not take part in any of the organized team activities or minicamp in the spring.
