Isn't this the second time he has been released this offseason? Would anyone consider him an upgrade over Davis, Scott or Coady?

FS should be a competition. Just like every other position on the team.

Marques Anderson claimed off of waivers to the Broncos? He won DROY instead of Roy didnt he? Why didnt we bring him in for a look!?

I am still hoping there is a surprise cut near the end of camp that we can pick up. Some heady vet that can fill that gap for a year or even two.

He didn't win a legitimate DROY award, he won the "Pepsi Rookie of the Year" award, which was voted on by fans over the Internet. And Green Bay fans voted enough to make sure Anderson won, even though he was the least-qualified for the award.

I still think we make a trade with Baltimore for Ed Reed.

Ummm, and who exactly do we send to Baltimore to make that trade?

Are you related to Nors by any chance?

You're not alone. Unlike some others, I'm not convinced by a long shot that Keith Davis is the answer at FS. I'd like to be wrong though.

I know it's hindsight and everything, but we'd have our FS spot taken care of if we'd claimed Lamont Thompson when the Bengals released him two years ago. I said before he was drafted that he'd be better then Ed Reed (I was wrong, obviously) but he's still a pretty good FS. 6'2", 220 lbs with 4.4 speed. He'd be nice to have back there with Roy.

Oh well...
