I’d love Bain at 12. I’d just take Rodriguez or Keionte Scott early at 20, because I value both players that much. It’d be an overdraft but I’d pay that price to ensure I got one of the players that I really wanted.

I do know that’d be an unpopular thing here but that’s what I personally would do.

I’m with you! Bain and JRod? Instant defense and control for 5 more years. Marketing galore for both as well.

We’ve overdrafted for years and it generally pays off.

I think I would rather take Howell or Mason-Thomas
Heck I am not the biggest fan of Parker or Faulk but I think they both would be ranked above Zion.

I like Scott but IMO he is going to need to be surrounded by a great secondary to maximize his skill set.

If not I can see him getting picked on in coverage.

He’s fine in zone coverage and frankly, I haven’t seen much man coverage from him.

He’ll be mostly zone for Parker.

Honestly asking…what makes you so confident we will be playing majority zone? The only comments I’ve seen from CP regarding that is that he will tailor the coverage scheme to what best fits the roster. Unless I missed something?

Don’t like Young at 20.

Would have rather gone R Mason Thomas or Cassius Howell if we’re going to double dip at EDGE.

That said, I would have probably gone with Chris Johnson at 20.

Makes sense because there are only going to be so many, 1st round graded players in any draft, and pick 20 usually isn’t it in any draft year. Plus Dallas doesn’t have a high 2nd round selection.

We will probably see a guy ‘overdrafted’ there because they don’t have a 2nd rounder, but they just like them that much to select them at 20.

It's not what we should do. In my view we need to come out of the 1st Round with a LB and a secondary player
either a CB or Safety

Just going off of what a Vic Fangio defense typically does. That could be wrong but it probably isn’t.

But yeah, you’re right… we don’t know yet for sure.

The team does though, so you’d think they’d draft accordingly.

Not convinced Bain is a god fit for our DEF. We need our OLB's to be able to go backwards as well as forwards. I would pass and I think other teams in the Top 10 feel the same way, that's why he keeps falling.
I'm hoping we can move up to #6 and grab Bailey or Styles
