Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bobby Carpenter visited the "First Take" set Friday morning to discuss a variety of topics heading into training camp.

If I am Bobby Carpenter I would said 'No Comment' on the Romo-Jessie questions. Why does everyone have to ask about them? What did he expect Carp to say, 'Oh yeah, she's a wreck. She's so trashy and I wish Tony would drop here ASAP'.

Carpenter might have a future at Bristol. He was on with Brad and Nate earlier. Eventhough I didn't like the pick, I am rooting for him this year....

I believe Carpenter will turn the corner this year and perform like a first round pick. Two reasons for this huge improvement: (1) Zach will show Bobby how to be successful, and (2) it is his third year in the league...and he won't be constantly moved from one position to another all year long. After all the negative comments, etc. over the past two years about Carpenter -- I am really rooting for him to shut people up.

I also would like to see Spencer starting at OLB instead of the old weary and whiny Ellis. Spencer is a better athlete and with a little more experience on the field he will start to dominate. Ellis is a pass rush specialist and should be used accordingly.
