I can think of a lot worse things than 34 wins and 2 division titles in three seasons. changing coaches right now would not make any sense at all. and in case no one is paying attention, the players clearly have his back. That definitely counts for something. There were definitely points this season where I didn't think this was possible, but I'm glad he's coming back. I like where this team is headed.

You mean like in the same way they had Wade's back against Philly last season with the 'win or go home' game? How did that one turn out? Or do you think they did a better job of having his back in Wade's first season as head coach when this team had the best record in the NFC? Remember that one? You know...the one where they failed miserably against the midgets in the division playoffs, (even though they beat them both times in the regular season)?

Perhaps instead of having Wade's back, they might have had his arm or some other piece of Wade's anatomy instead.

But make no mistake about it, no one (and I mean no one) had his backside.

Should every coach that made the playoffs but did not win the Super bowl be fired? Not to even mention the coaches that won less than 34 games and two division titles the last three years. That would be a whole lot of turnover.

Another question is which coach would you guarantee a Super Bowl win with next year? Just curious.

I don't care about other coaches...I don't care about other teams. We're the Cowboys and the bar is set high. Also, Wade's most-excellent record is akin to what I've already mentioned three times now, "lipstick on a pig".

You already know where I stand with this question so I'm not going to bring it up again. I might as well guarantee the water boy winning us the Superbowl and it would have just as much merit.

Nice way to sidestep the question and avoid having to respond with some type of logical or intelligent response.

Pray tell oh wise one, how exactly did I sidestep the question? I gave my answer regarding the other teams/coaches...and I've already gone on record about the coach I feel is the best fit for our team.

Now you have two choices here. You can:

1) Do a little research to find my choice regarding who I want for head coach (trust me, my answer reeks aplenty on here).

-Or-

2) Turn off your computer, go drink your milk and leave this discussion to the adults.

Okay?

We agree there are no guarantees. I am not sure that starting from scratch with a new staff is the best idea for the team, but you already know that. honest difference of opinion. Since Wade is staying, I hope I am correct.:)

Jerruh would rather have a puppet then a top coach. As long as he thinks this way we will never get a top coach again-or if we do keep him long.

Technically speaking, Wade did kind of start from scratch, even though his offensive coordinator was already hand-picked by Jerry. And he had a HUGE success during the regular season. It just didn't work out as well during the playoffs.

And I believe (firmly believe) that this team, right now, is capable of winning the Superbowl.

I just don't see it with Wade leading us. But I hope I'm wrong and I sincerely hope you're right - we'll just have to wait and see.

<sigh>

I just made myself depressed knowing that this season's over for us as Cowboys fans. :(
