LANDOVER, Md. -- Welcome to FedEx Field, where the Dallas Cowboys conclude their regular season against the Washington Commanders at 1 p.m. ET Sunday. Unlike the last three seasons, the Cowboys are not in a win-and-in situation in Week 17. They have already won the NFC East and clinched a playoff spot. Depending on the results elsewhere Sunday, they could gain home-field advantage with a win or a first-round bye with a win or a loss. While the likelihood of the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions tying and the Arizona Cardinals losing is remote, as is the thought that the Seattle Seahawks will lose at home as well, Cowboys coach Jason Garrett will play to win the game -- unless he changes his mind.
