KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Needing to travel about a mile from the 4 without a timeout and only 16 seconds remaining the Dallas Cowboys called for a screen pass to start their final drive of Sunday’s 17-16 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. DeMarco Murray gained 10 yards on the Tony Romo pass, but the Cowboys were unable to line up before the clock ran out. Why a screen? “Ninety five percent of the teams are going to be really soft in that situation,” Romo said.
