ESPN: Will Cowboys take advantage of Ross' absence?

This game has little to do with the Giants secondary. This game will be determined at the LOS on both sides of the ball. No secondary can cover all our weapons if Tony has time in the pocket.

BUT, our ability to protect Tony will be severly tested this week. Frankly, I'm a little concerned. Tony has been harrassed in the pocket already even though he hasn't been sacked much. He is constantly having to move and sidestep oncoming pass rushers and he has taken some shots.

I think the Giants should be a little concerned too - we've got our own pass rushers. I believe Jay Ratliff would eat Eli's lunch this Sunday...except for the fact that Eli won't be having lunch because Demarcus Ware will have already stolen his lunch money. :laugh2:

It's one reason I like for us to run the football because that cuts down on the wear and tear Tony takes over the course of a season.

thank you for pointing this out. i thought i was the only one who has noticed this for a few years now. tony make the oline look better than they really are. the guy has constantly had to dance around, duck, twirl and scramble to get balls off more times then not. thankfully he is magician and can perform magic at times but many of his turnovers are from him trying to get passes off with someone breathing down his neck before he even has the last step of his dropback. its pathetic.
