ESPN: Without Tony Romo, the Dallas Cowboys just can't lose the crazy

Felt like a rolling stone article where the writer travels with the band on a world tour to me.

The virtual reality deal sounds real cool and would love to try that!

The hair deal was hilarious! He's right, it never moves or needs a cut! Lol

I've heard Nick Eatman and Broaddus say JG can be stubborn to a fault. And this article confirms what I thought they meant when they said it. The bit about "how you win" and "consistency" also explains why there are very few game time adjustments that are made by JG and his staff.

Great read.

I like the quote from Stephen about putting Romo on IR; 'We're competitors"

If he really values the how over the result that says a lot.

It is arrogance to a fault. Trust the system, the process, the how over throwing away a losing hand.

The funny thing is that is wasn't developed over a bunch of successful seasons. It seems like he needed a mantra and just tried to make one work. People buy into Belichick's system because it works. But he developed it over many years and learning from a few great coaches.

Well written article. But he could be writing about any NFL team that is losing a lot or middle of the pack. Couldn't this article be about the Giants, Eagles, and Washington? Just substitute names, issues. Remember Washington in the off season? RGIII issues, Gms wife was in the news....

All teams have drama. Winning hides it. Losing doesn't.

I think the article conveys two things which aren't explicitly said:

1. The team has no direction. There isn't any sense if everyone being on the same page and working together for a goal.

2. The coaching staff have lost the players.

Do you think Bill Parcells and many other NFL coaches would tolerate Dez's music speakers?
