IRVING, Texas -- Growing up, Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten saw the effects of domestic violence first hand in his family. The Ray Rice video that surfaced this week and the ensuing talk about what the NFL knew or didn't know and when it did or didn't know it has raised the talk about domestic violence not just in the league but in the country. "That's unacceptable, not only in the NFL and as professional athletes, but just as men in this world," said Witten, who was named the 2012 Walter Payton Man of the Year for his off-field work.
