ESPN: WR group rankings. (Dallas 8th)

Yeah of course all teams throw to their TEs and RBs but that Stat you threw out with the Cowboys being ranked 4th or whatever involves WR, TE, and RBs. This particular ESPN ranking deals with only WIDE RECEIVERS.

To make things simple. Do you believe the Cowboys warrant a #8 Ranking? Be honest now.

Of course, our WR's helped us produce one of the best offenses in the league.

I'm curious, were the Foreskins WR's even listed on that list?

I'm well aware that it only includes WR's. The ranking I threw out included the passes given to other team's TE and RB's as well.

Reread my last post.

What I meant was that ratio of the passing yards racked up by Owens and Witten was probably something like 80%(ok maybe im exaggerating a bit) of your teams yards. I got more to say but i gotta run to get dinner.

Since the article is only looking at WR's I don't find too much to argue with here. However, I would expect us to be ranked higher if he took into account tight ends as well.

I understand what you're trying to convey, but it isn't Crayton's fault he's on the same team as Witten. He still produced a 700 yard season with a 13.9 yd avg. He's not as bad as many of the butt-sore cowboys fans make him out to be because of his postseason drop.

Keep in mind, this list includes Glenn, who, when healthy is a very capable #2...and a #1 on several teams. Regardless of his health issues.

He isn't bad at all. Infact, he was damn good last season especially playing on the same team as Witten and TO. Crayton had a helluva season and 1 bad game.

Hes public enemy #1 on this board because of that Giants game.

Its unbelievable.

In only his 3rd season as a WR he put up very nice numbers in his 1st opportunity to start.

But yet he has hit a wall and will never get any better to some....

What's funny to me is how overrated having 2 great receivers are. None of those teams in the top 10 won a SB.

Offense as a whole is overrated. When you look at the highest scoring offenses in NFL history, hardly any of em won the big one. But when you look at the fewest allowed points defenses, a bunch of em have rings('85 Bears, '00 Ravens, '02 Bucs). Of the four best defenses since the NFL scheduled was extended to 16 games, only the '91 Eagles have no ring to show for it and they had the misfortune of losing Cunningham.

I just call it how it is my man. I'm not here complaining the Skins should be ranked higher. I'm fine with our ranking.

Out of all the fans in the NFL, the two I despise the most are:

Patriots Fans... because they all only became fans about a decade ago when the Patriots exited the basement of the NFL

and

Commanders Fans... even more so, because even though the lowly Cowboys teams coached by Chan Gailey and Dave Campo were a combined 9-1 record against them, and overall we are 56-36 against them, they still swear after every game throughout history that they were the better team and we got lucky

We have whupped their arse so much that it's ridiculous but they continue talk.... Unbelievable!!!

Well what exactly do you expect their fans to do? Say 'You're right your team is better and we suck?"

Come on.

Well, since our WRs suck, that makes it even all the more impressive the season Romo had.

:)
