IRVING, Texas -- For the second straight year John Daly and Tony Romo will be teammates at the Pebble Beach Pro Am that runs Feb. 7-13.

For those following @PGA_JohnDaly on Twitter, you know that Daly will be coming back from a tournament in Qatar to play at Pebble Beach.

And for those ready to gnash their teeth over Romo playing golf after missing the final 10 games of the Cowboys’ season with a fractured left collarbone: He’s been cleared physically.

I know Daly is a big Cowboys fan. He has a framed autograph Jersey of Staubach over his bed. He had show on the golf channel and was showing all his Cowboys items. He did not want ask for Romo so he got his wife to do it for him. :laugh2:

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo is ready to compete again _ at least on the golf course.

Romo will partner with his buddy, long hitting John Daly, at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am on Feb. 10-13. They missed the cut last year after shooting 65-70-68.

``After Qatar I'll head back and team up my Cowboys partner Tony Romo at Pebble Beach once again this year,'' Daly said via Twitter.

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo will once again tee it up with John Daly at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am early next month, according to ESPNDallas.com's Todd Archer. Romo missed the final 10 games of the season with a broken left collarbone, so obviously he's feeling much better now.

Romo
Romo takes the biggest shoulder turn I've seen on the celebrity circuit since Billy Joe Tolliver arrived on the scene. And it won't help that he's playing alongside Daly, regarded as one of the longest hitters on the PGA Tour -- even after lapband surgery. Archer and I were fortunate enough to play Pebble Beach during a Cowboys road trip several years ago and my tee shot off No. 1 haunts me to this day.

Daly better now drag him down in the tournament again this year. :laugh2:
