There are times when Owusu-Ansah is right on top of a play in practice and he's shown an ability to get physical, but sometimes he's nowhere near a play.

On kick returns, you can tell Owusu-Ansah uses his speed well to get through seams and he's got a little wiggle, something you need when returning kicks.

The problem for Owusu-Ansah is you don't know what he can do.

I hope he does well but not expecting much early on from him. He has missed a lot of time and to expect him to walk out there and make things happen on defense is asking alot. I do think if he has an impact on the team this year it will likely be on the return team

I'm sticking to my prediction about AOA.

AOA will be the starting SS in 2011. Dallas will probably look to draft a starting LDE and DE depth and will look to draft significantly on the offensive line.

Dallas wants cover safeties, and Dallas really likes Alan Ball who will be restricted next year, I think. Dallas' front seven allows them to play with pure cover safeties.

He's bigger than Alan Ball.

He has great speed and quickness and really good size.

He can cover in the slot or outside.

Furthermore, AOA is a better athlete than Sensabaugh.

Dallas can play him up close and let him use his athletic ability to cover TEs and RBs, and he is going to be cheaper than Gerald Sensabaugh.

Although cowboyjoe only posted segments of the article...the actual body of the work is just as simplistic.

For the life of me I can't understand how this guy draws a paycheck for his unrefined writing and analysis. He lacks both knowledge of the subject matter and the ability to communicate it.

But I don't see what's so exciting about this guy, especially since he's coming off of injury. He'll make a special teams tackle or something, but he's not going to be Ed Reed out there and then propel us to the playoffs or something. That's all.

cowboyjoe, I believe everybody who has responded to this post could write better stories and questions if given the same access to the team...Most of us could probably write better articles from the comfort of our living rooms without ever wearing a press pass.

As for you personally, I've seen much better, and more relevant posts from you on many occasions than the drivel I have read from Watkins. You would get my vote hands down.

Totally different. Stanback switched to a totally new position when he came to the nfl. AOA played safety his senior year and absolutely lit it up in his lesser division. There are no similarities between the two players.

I'm not saying we don't take a DE, I'd just be surprised if we did it in the first round unless he's a freak of a player and happens to be there like Dez was there.

I'm really rooting for this kid. I feel like Dez and Lee are sure things for this team, barring injury. If we hit on AOA this could be a VERY solid draft class for us. I'm almost more excited to see him play than I am Dez and Lee.
