Plus you can read Archer's and Rodgers' opinion on the matter. IMO Deion does not belong in the Cowboys ROH.

Nope. Outstanding player and he helped us for a a brief time, but he was a rent-a-player. A guy who spent more of his career with teams other than the Cowboys does not belong.

I don't think so. He was one of the best, but he really wasn't a Cowboys long enough to be in the Ring of Honor IMO. It's an interesting thought though because he was so good and he did put in a good amount of his career here, but can you consider him a Cowboy great?

It's a nice debate.

^^^^This^^^^

I know it will never happen, but Harvey Martin belongs in the ROH,,, loved that guy! If they had been counting sacks throughout his career that guy would be in the HOF!

Hall of Fame, absolutely. Ring of Honor, no way in hell.

Wow, that's twice this year that we agree on something! ;)

He and Jerry probably sold a lot of shoes.

Mixed feeling he played 5 seasons in Dallas how many season should a player have under his belt to be considered for the ROH?

Or should no FA ever be added to the ROH?

HELL no.

Wouldn't be one bit surprised if Jerry did it, though.

Rodgers wrote this in his piece on why Deion belongs in the ROH. Scary eh?

For what it's worth, I think Jerry Jones might already be tipping his hand. On his private jet, there are giant action photographs of four very important former Cowboys. Just four. Aikman, Irvin, Emmitt ... and Deion.

He left the Falcons for their most hated rival. Then he left the 49ers for the most hated rival. Then he left the Cowboys for their most hated rival. Then he left the Commanders for their cross-town hated rival.

Deion was great, but in the end, he was a vagabond circus act. I wish he'd never donned the star.
