ESPNews... Roy could miss sunday's game...

Meh. It's a loss but nothing crucial.

Felix is a huge loss.

Yeah, I see your point. Felix is gone and that's a huge loss. Now, one of our starting WRs is gone, the one that dictates double coverage 90% of the time in addition to Felix but it's cool.

:laugh2:

OK

No problem, they have several other possession receivers.

and is getting dumped on for it yet if he had alligator armed it he would be getting dumped on also

I understand the frustration regarding Roy but in my opinion his lack of production is not his fault

not all wr get extra wide open
Roy gets open enough and has the ability to body opposing CB's and make difficult grabs
he can snag the ball with ease

they aren't using him right

he has been out since week 1

so what does it matter

:laugh2: Thanks for the much needed laugh.. That pass wasn't his fault though. That was a classic case of hanging your WR out to dry.

It doesnt matter Romo plays well against scrubs and cannot make a 10 yard competion against good teams.

If they need Roy Williams in this game to beat the sorry *** Chiefs then something is seriously wrong....

It looks like it's his chance.

Give Roy Williams this week and the bye to heal up and get KO in the slot to see what he can do.

Williams went up and got crunched on a high pass Terrell Owens never would've left the ground for due to self preservation.

Roy Williams is a hack and I've seen enough. Promises of this and that, and at the end of the day, still nothing. Next.

Seriously, our problem is WR and this isn't going to get fixed quick. Roy Williams in or out, I don't see it much mattering. At least though, with him out, there's that slim chance a young talent emerges.

our main problem is qb who is missing wide open rec. on a weekly basis.

The homers and Romo lovers always use their built in excuse. "Anybody can win on any given day". Yeah ok. Good teams will beat the Broncos, I don't care what anybody says. Take that 4-0 record that have and dissapear.

Unfortunately, I think Roy is inevitably screwed here. The reason is simple.

1) He's technically T.O.'s replacement and there is the perception that he has to be as good and/or better than T.O. to justify releasing T.O. It'll never happen. I think Roy is good, but he isn't and never will be in T.O.'s class. For the record, I don't necessarily see that as a death-nail knock, but it will be forever used against him.

2) Most importantly, we traded the farm for him and he has to live up to $45 million and several draft picks in order to be perceived as "good" by the masses. I call this Joey Galloway disease. Roy can be a yearly 1,000-yard, 7-TD guy but those numbers don't match his salary.

It's almost one of those deals where we killed this relationship the day we started it.

LOL... here comes the Olgetree lovers out in full force.

Bet he doesn't get a catch on Sunday.

Why wouldn't he?!??!

UDFA WR's always make big plays when they are activated.

Ding-ding.

That was as vicious a hit as I've seen a WR take in a long time. I give Williams credit for trying to go up an get it. There are not a lot of guys who would willingly take that shot going over the middle. Hard to believe that this board finds fault in the guy on that play or that injury.

Atleast some people get it.

WWID - What would Irvin do?

Suck it up and play. Irvin made a living on the kind of plays Roy got blasted on. Yet he never complained.

These million dollar babies need to grow a pair.

WWJD?

what would Jesus do in this situation?

I don't know if I can agree with this. I go back to our only TD Sunday and the catch that Williams made on the side line against Bailey was instrumental in getting that TD. Once he went out, we then see the pick by Bailey on Romo's throw to Austin and two critical pass breakups for what could have been a TD that would have sent us into overtime. I think it could be a big loss for us.

In which either way #11 wasn't in the game so who gives a rip?

DING! DING! DING! We have a winner.

I don't have any problem with #11 missing the Chiefs game, or the Atlanta Game. I have a problem with the fact the he STILL wasn't out there for the last two plays in Denver. Hell, even the first one, be out there. Rib injury , I get it. This wasn't the next day. it was still in the heat of battle and you play through that crap. Hell, Romo did it last year at the end of the season. This guy should of too. he is soft. And quite frankly , is not going to be too missed.

good. i hope he misses the rest of the season that gutless wimp
