Okay, they didn't say that, but they may as well had. Here's the video for those who didn't see it:

Hank Goldberg doesn't even know the name of the Giants' players.

Amazing the hacks ESPN puts on. That's embarrassing if you are an ESPN exec.

The guy kept having to look at his notes and still got the names all wrong.

Corey Webster is about to be ABUSED tomorrow.

Book it.

Funny that he has to look down at his notes to remember the players' names.

I guess the fact that we already beat them by double digits both times and they are missing their best offensive player means nothing. Too funny. Also we are at full strength and have Terry Glenn healthy for the first time all season. Boys 31-20.

We can't blame anyone for sowing doubt by ourselves. Now we've gotta come out and make a statement. The media has been on our case all season, why should we expect anything else now.

The Giants beat the Bucs and didn't lose to the Patriots by 50, and apparently that makes them the 3rd best team in the playoffs.

We didn't lose to New England by 50 either and had a better year than New York...

You know, I'd really love to see the clips from all the ESPNers about 4 weeks ago when they were asking what the Giants should do at the QB position. Discussing if they needed to draft a quarterback...discussing what a giant let-down Eli's been.

Yet all of a sudden, after four years of CONSISTENT mediocrity (look at his average passer rating, he hasnt improved at ALL since he started), he's all-pro.

Gotta love the media's 2-week attention span

Call me paranoid.....but if the Giants were somehow playing the Packers instead of the Cowboys, I think Green Bay would be getting all the love this week.

I'm having a hard time remembering when the top-seeded NFC team received such little respect nationally when compared to the other NFC playoff teams.

Actually, the Giants haven't missed Shockey too much. Boss has been playing pretty well. And even more importantly, Steve Smith has come back strong and given them a viable third option at WR.

As far as Madison goes, this could be a problem. Unfortunately, even though Webster played well last week, it was just one week he has done so. It was also the first time he saw extensive action since being benched early in the season. The word is that he has just been slow to learn the system but is very familiar with it now. He will be tested and tested big time tomorrow. Is he what the Giants hoped they were drafting or was last week a fluke? I hate having to find this out in this game but it has to be done.

At this point, Hank probably has to look at his driver's license to see who he is.

Having seen a ton of LSU games, Webster was not Landry or Dorsey, but he was nonetheless a good corner while he was there.

Sure, but this "office pool" is telling me that the Giants got players who they didn't have before. He proceeded to tell me that Kevin Boss wasn't playing the second game (yet he fails to tell me that Shockey, a better TE, isn't playing in this third game). It may be the homer in me, but I sincerely believe that Terry Glenn will have more of an impact than Steve Smith.

In the second game against New York, both Terence Newman and Anthony Henry were gimpy, but it seems that they will both be fine now.

TO will be fine.

The media seems to love counting Dallas out. I've never seen a 1st seed so disrespected. Even the Eagles, after they lost their first two conf. championship games, were still given much more respect than Dallas, and they did NOT have Terrell Owens.

I'm not doubting that the Giants are a good team (they would have to be, or they wouldn't be here), but the media just continues to write Dallas off. It's disgusting.

I am very surprised at how little respect the Cowboys are getting. They are usually media darlings. I wonder what it is about this Cowboys team that is pushing some of the media aside.

I know Goldberg from down here. He has picked the Giants all three times this year to beat the Cowboys.

I'll take that as a good sign.

what i don't get is why these "experts" put so much stock into the teams last few games instead of the 2 head to head meetings they've already had.

It really is funny, how the media seems never to mention that Dallas was without certain players in games, or that they are returning to play in this game. Seems as far as there concerned nothing ever changes with the Dallas lineup. No one has mentioned as to how they think changes to the Dallas D will affect the game plan. Why doesn't someone bring up the fact that Dallas may be changing it's line-up to get Roy Williams help, or even out of certain plays.
