This pollhttp://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/polling?event_id=2643 can be found here: http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/polling?event_id=2643

1) Should Terrell Owens be suspended for admitting he spit on Atlanta CB DeAngelo Hall during Saturday's game?
Yes
No
What? no option for somebody who thinks he should just be fined? Like the $7500 fine that Bill Romanowski got for spitting in JJ Stokes' face (which was caught on TV). Romanowski being a player known for playing dirty. Has TO done anything like this? Taken cheap shots on the field, etc? No, so why calls for a suspension? OH right...b/c he's Terrell Owens.

2) Would you feel the same way if the guilty party was someone other than Owens?
Yes, even for a first offense.
Yes, but only if the player had a history of misconduct.
No, Owens is a special case.
Hm, these don't really fit if you picked "NO" for Question #1. Loaded question?

3) Which do you consider a worse transgression on the field?
Sucker-punching someone
Spitting on someone
Fair enough.

4) Who deserves a bigger fine?
Owens for spitting on Hall
Pittsburgh LB Joey Porter for use of a derogatory slur
Whatever type question.

5) Why do you think Owens admitted on national television that he spit on Hall?
He thought his actions were justified.
He wanted the spotlight.
He just answered a question honestly.
"He wanted the spotlight" ahh..there it is.

6) Who should take the lead in punishing Terrell Owens?
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones
Cowboys coach Bill Parcells
NFL commissioner Roger Goodell
Was Romanowski suspended? How much was he fined? He had a history of dirty plays. http://espn-ak.starwave.com/media/nfl/2003/0827/photo/romanowski_sc.jpg

7) How would you assess Owens' overall impact on the Cowboys this season?
Mostly positive
Mostly negative
Mostly? As if it indicate "some good..some bad" or "some bad..some good"

8) How does Owens alter the Cowboys' Super Bowl aspirations?
Can only reach the Super Bowl with Owens
Can reach the Super Bowl with or without Owens
Can't reach the Super Bowl either way
Gee, how did ESPN feel he'd alter Philadelphia's aspirations when they signed him? He's a quality receiver, of course he helps their chances. W/O him, who knows.

9) Where will Owens play next season?
For the Cowboys
For someone else
Out of the NFL
Hmm...i feel a Bill hates Owens commentary coming on by ESPN here.

This crap is rediculous. They're ready to run him out of the league. I hope Goodell fines him $7500 just like Romanowski and that's it. I can't see a justification for worse other than flat out hate toward the guy.

Go Cowboys!

Especially with no footage to show how heinous or innocent it was.

7) How would you assess Owens' overall impact on the Cowboys this season?

51.5% Mostly negative
48.5% Mostly positive
HAHAHA!

If Owens has been a net negative impact on the team, I'll take a team full of negative players.

Fans are so stupid. Anyone who doesn't want this guy on their team is a self-important blowhard.

I can't believe TO stooped that low. He needs a very hefty fine.

But a suspension?

No.

I just watched Shockey dive into the back of another player. He got a flag and a 15 yard penalty.

Tell me what's worse....Spitting on someone, which is disgusting. OR... Divining into the back of a player possibly injuring him seriously.

If TO deserves a suspension, why not Shockey?

Who the F cares? It's not like TO is a true home grown Cowboy, he was universally disliked by all Cowboys fans before this year and likely will be again once he's gone. And as for the stupid ESPN anti-Cowboys "bias" I keep reading about, look at all the love Romo has gotten. Some people on here need to get a grip.

LOL. Reminds me of a professor I was warned about in college. It was said that if you took his class and sat in the front row, that you needed to make sure you brought an umbrella.

If T.O is suspended for this crap, that is the risk Jones assumed when he signed him. Even if there is no precedent in the league for a suspension for spitting on someone, Owens will make an obvious exception, given his past history of self-centered idiocy. Jerry Jones assumed the risk.

There's no way the league would suspend Owens for the Philly game. Goodell isn't that stupid.

That's true... T.O would undoubtedly appeal it anyway, this would get pushed into the playoffs or next year. Who the hell knows?

Ding Ding Ding, The division on the line, Eagles vs. Cowboys Christmas Day and you are going to suspend the lightning rod for all of this. Yeah right. Goodall knows the ratings are going to be through the roof. Especially since this was not caught on tape like Romanoski you can book it that he won't be suspended.
