Personally, I "quit" the habit of watching this addictive 4 letter network many months ago.

Anyhow-for anyone that watches Cold Pizza, Mike and Mike, NFL Live, 1st and 10, etc, what did they say about Denver's "whining" and Dallas supposedly "breaking the rule of ethics"?

haven't seen anything on mike and mike. they will talk about in on monday night countdown probally

Seriously why do you care aobut ESPNs take on what amounts to a bad soap opera.

Wade swung the mallet much too hard in croquet thus scaring little mikeys friends.

I don't, really.

While ESPN isn't exactly a "Cowboys hating network" like alot of posters say here, there are nonetheless a couple of analysts there, other than Skip, that have nothing but negative things to say about that. James Hasty is one of them(i.e. 2 years ago when the league CONFIRMED that that FG attempt DIDN'T hit Julius Peppers, Hasty kept on rambling how the refs robbed the Panthers of that game). So was just curious of what Hasty might say about this, and what spin he would put on it.

Their preseason coverage on the website has been non-existent. They haven't had a single headline about any of the games. You'd figure after 2 weekends something noteworthy would have happened in one of the games.

Unlike the real world, ESPN is under the mistaken assumption that people in this country actually care about baseball and soccer. Evidently, they are catering to the undocumented population in the U.S. rather than to the actual citizens.

That's becasue of Michael Vick. They have no time for anything else. If vick was not a story this summer, BSPB would have been all over the TO being late to practice thing from last week.

HUH?

Baseball is great and this year the playoffs should be outstanding, what is going on with the yankees and red sox is going to be pure magic in a month.

Surprise, surprise Wilbon ripped us and said he knows for a fact that there is a code.

What a tool.

Interesting... since he played in the league for many years... oh wait...

I heard several players today that played in the league said they never heard of such when they played...

Galloway on his show today said he called some long-time NFL people around the league (not Cowboys-related) to ask about this, and they said there is only one "code" among coaches in preseason...

Don't ever play for a tie at the end of a game. :laugh2:

But the guys said there is no "code" as far as blitzing.

Randy White said the same thing on TV last night: As he pointed out, sometimes the starters even would go back in late in a game if they were losing. White scoffed at the idea of any "code".

Galloway also had on the Denver Post writer who wrote the Lynch story, and he said he didn't think even Shanahan was upset. His only concern was that his team didn't handle the blitz very well.

There is no Code in Denver about "Cutback" or "Chop" blocking is there?.

I would argue that there has never been MLB in the DFW area.

But I do like going out to see the Frisco Roughriders and having a beer or three.

One question...
What not liking Middle Line Backers have to do with living in Dallas?
Is this another Bradie James hate thread???

I've never lived in Dallas and am not from Texas. I used to enjoy baseball until the 1994 strike when I completely gave up on it and have had ZERO interest in it since. I grew up in L.A. and was a Dodgers fan but that strike really made me cut ties with the "Great American Pastime" once and for all.

I have as much interest in baseball as I do in hockey or soccer, which is NONE.
