Everyone predict your practice squads. Here is mine:

QB: Rudy Carpenter
RB: Lance Dunbar
WR: Tim Benford
TE: Andrew Szcerba
DL: Rob Callaway
DL: Brandon Bass
LB: Adrian Hamilton
CB: Lionel Smith

I think Hamilton would be snatched up rather quickly off our squad. A team like Baltimore would take him and develop him into a really good edge rusher.

Carpenter isn't eligible for the PS. He's already been on practice squads for three seasons (2009 with Dallas, 2010-11 with Bucs) and in fact has an accrued season already with Bucs. .... Three seasons on a PS is max by NFL rules.

So maybe we can go with Cole Beasley as emergency QB (hey he played QB in high school ..) ... Dwayne Harris was all-state QB in Georgia.

It has been reported in multiple places that Carpenter is still eligible for the PS. Most recently, the Cowboys radio sideline reporter Kristi Scales reported it before the game.

I wouldnt get cute with Hamilton. He will get snatched if we try to sneak him onto the PS

I doubt if Bass, Hamilton and Smith would make it to the PS. They'd all be taken by some team.

Absolutely no way Hamilton makes it to the PS.

Mistake per my previous response, but not my fault .... looks like Rudy is eligible ..

Rudy Carpenter's wiki is wrong - led me astray. Turns out he was on their 53-man for the whole of 2010. His wiki says he was only activated in November that season - incorrect. He was not on their PS that season.

So that would make only two seasons on PS so far for him. Even though he was on the Bucs' 53-man for the whole of 2010 (an "accrued season"), he wasn't "active" enough games that season to disqualify him from a future practice squad. He was on their 53-man in Dec. 2009, but not enough games to be "accrued." So he is eligible for a third PS season, provided the Cowboys have kept 53 men on their 53-man roster etc. etc. which they assuredly have.

Good, I like Carpenter anyway. Hope he makes the PS.
