Just want everyone to take a step back for a second and look at things in perspective.

First of all I just want to say that us being 2-3 when the Giants are 4-2 and and the other 2 teams are 3-3 is not as bad as you think

Eagles are a turnover machine and could easily be 0-6

Commanders honestly do not scare me they have a defense that was bad to begin with that is now suffering from key injuries..

Giants we have already beaten and can do it again..

Now to evaluate the losses

Seahawks (4-2) Very tough place to play.. Beat the Packers and Patriots

Ravens (5-1) Obviously a very good team.. Probably should be 6-0

Bears (4-1) Only loss is to the Packers.

The teams that beat us are a combined 13-4.. Pretty Darn good.

All that being said I think we had a good chance to win this game and shot ourselves in the foot a bunch of times but I still think we are the best team in this division and although we have had a disappointing start to this season no doubt but luckily we are only 1 game back.. Lot of things to be upset about in this game (Clock management, KO return, etc etc) But at the end of the day I think we are in position to turn this thing around. The offense is moving the ball with ease, The line is protecting much better, lots of positives.

It's not the outcomes of our losses, it is the way we played. We were absolutely putrid against the Seahawks and Bears. We played like crap against Tampa too and would have lost if they had any semblance of a QB. We did look somewhat OK today but Garrett was terrible at managing the clock again. The Giants game is really the ONLY game we have played really well out of 5. I would really hate to make the playoffs because we suck the least in our division. I would much prefer we actually go out and earn a playoff spot.

Wait for it....

3.2.1...

Oh - great post. Nice to hear the sky isn't falling.

Wonder how Andy Reid is feeling?

The Giants are 4-2, not 3-3.

Had Cruz made a couple of catches he typically makes in the 1st game you could count that as a loss. Sure we got a win but we have yet to look impressive in any game.

So what you are saying is we suck?

our schedule is what is going to keep us out of the playoffs

Being we have to play other NFL teams?

You do have a point!!!

Say what? None of the three incompletions to Cruz would have made a seven-point difference in the game.

I think I see some variation of this argument every season. If you have a .25 winning percentage against playoff caliber teams and you've gotten blown out in half your games against playoff caliber teams, you're probably not a playoff caliber team.

I think our schedule is pretty easy the rest of the way. Of course, some teams will get better or worse than they are now, but our schedule is the least of my concerns.

Falcons (league's last undefeated team) and Giants (just smacked the supposed best team in the NFC at home) coming up in the next several weeks.

Five of the 12 playoff teams last season were .250 or worse against other playoff teams, and three of them got blown out in at least half of those losses.

Look and learn, kiddos.

This is the danger of saying something without actually knowing it for a fact.

IMO the only saving grace left in this season are the next two weeks. You beat Carolina and then NYG the following week you are at 4-3 and probably in 1st place or at least tied for it and that gives the Giants 3 possibly 4 losses in the division. If we don't win these next two games it will be too hard to overcome. These next two games are extremely important. I get so tired of saying this and the Cowboys failing to execute but it is what it is at this point.

Except the Cowboys aren't going to become a winner because only Jerruh decides whether that window is closing or not.

On paper, playing at Atlanta is our toughest game remaining. But I'm not convinced that Atlanta is the best team in the league. They've had the easiest schedule in the league so far and have had to rally late to win their past three games against teams that are a combined 5-11.

The Giants should be tough again, but we beat them on the road.

I'm not saying we're going to win all of the rest of our games, or that we are guaranteed to win any of them, but I don't see any teams on our schedule (or in the league, for that matter) that aren't beatable.

That...and...our team is heavily overrated when it comes to the talent, we have little discipline and zero consistency, oh and players, coaches and management are dumber than a box of rocks....but yeah...our schedule does not help.
