Even if the pick is good, the pick is bad.

It looks like a good pick. They've hit on damn near every1st round O-line pick, so I think we have to give them the benefit of the doubt. The Cowboys biggest issue is not being able to hit on second round picks. They don't have to be stars, but they absolutely need to make significant contributions.

A good OL with no run game. A good OL with only one WR. This pick doesn't improve scoring.
You don't need to draft an RB in the first to have a run game. The WRs in this draft are crapshoots, there is not a single WR in the draft that you can confidently say is worth a first rounder. A couple of these WRs went higher than they should have specifically because of how weak other positions are. It's why two TEs went early.

I don't hate the pick, would rather have had Zabel. But if you're gonna draft the road grader type of Guard then please get a legit RB instead of the trash we currently have.

Can
We have already seen the cowboys do the Oline craziness to the point of having one of the best Olines at one point, with nothing to show for.

Oline will not help the QB we currently have behind center. Fans saying we need oline must have not gotten the memo regarding the previous years.

So are we just accepting building yet another oline for Dak, one and done in the playoffs, if not miss the playoffs, and then the whole oline is gone in 4 years or so.......and then the cowboys draft another olinemen in the first again just to start the shenanigans all over again?

Are we going to continue to convince our selves that oline is a need in order to make ourselves feel good about the situation?

Some of you are insufferable.
Cant hide the QB. It does not matter how many skill positions you draft.

This is definitely one of the best 2nd round players that the Cowboys have taken in a while.

The fact that they took him in the 1st round is a minor detail.

Injuries happen in the NFL . Now having Hoffman & Bass as reserves is a luxury instead of starting one of them and being thin in reserve . In case anyone missed it Dexter Lawrence plus those two mammoth Georgia tackles in Philly are in the NFCE .

Now go out and get a WR RB and help this defense the rest of the draft .

We're back to exactly the 2015-2016 Romo era, what good are the o line draft picks if the back up is seeing significant time? Dak just like Romo is broken down, let's be real here.

The mistake of extending Dak is not an excuse to pass on a player who could give you a decade of solid service at a trench position that helps this offense move the chains hopefully kick less field goals .

No matter who we pick it is crap according to this place!

Booker is a great selection and is a beast on the OL. Plenty of value everywhere at RB and WR. Just be patient folks.

Zabels best position is center and I think they were happy with Beebe.

I liked Zabel too but Booker may be a better fit

4th best OL in the draft at pick 12. If that's not laughable I don't know what is.
3 tackles were taken before him, not guards. He was the best rated guard by most. I don't know what the hell your point is here. We were in need of a guard, we got the best rated guard. The second best guard went 6 picks later. Did the Seahawks also make a mistake?

It was between Booker, Grant, Warren, and Nolen. OG and DT would have both been great at 12 and we went with the best rated guard. I don't feel comfortable taking a TE top 15.
